If you want to stay in the Old City of Jerusalem, I highly recommend you contat Rozy's bed and breakfast. Her place is in the heart of the Jewish Quarter. Rozy is a kind and considerate person who always makes you feel at home. Staying with her is always a real pleasure.

Ilon and Olga Shapira are another lovely family who have roooms available in their home. Olga provides a great breakfast for her guests and Ilan is a licensed tour guide. Living in their home for several months was a pleasant experience. I also enjoyed the view of the Temple Mount from their roof top.

If you are coming to Israel with a small group, there are several hostels nearby. Accommodations are also available at Christ Church, which is just inside the Jaffa Gate. Of course there are many hotels and places available outside the Old City.
